Nintendo Switch 2 game prices, revealed
Nintendo Switch 2 game prices, revealed With the reveal of the Switch 2's release date, we've also learned more about the games exclusive to the platform, and we also have a slight idea about how much they could cost. If you might have guessed a price rise by the first sentence, you're correct. Nintendo has yet to reveal the official prices of every exclusive, but we can have a relative idea from  Mario Kart World 's price. All Nintendo Switch 2 game prices Here's what we know of Switch 2 exclusives so far: Mario Kart World: $79.99 Donkey Kong Bananza : $79.99 (rumored) Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour (paid, but price yet to be revealed) Many first-party titles will also be on the Switch 2, but their prices are yet to be confirmed as of writing. Once the official prices are available, we will update our guide. If you already own Switch 1 games, they will be supported for the new console with Upgrade Packs, which will let you update them to enhanced versions so that they can utilize the better hardware features of Switch 2. At the time of writing, the standalone prices of the Upgrade Packs remain unconfirmed. If you purchase the Switch 2 version of a game, it will also include the Switch 1 version (assuming it's not a Switch 2 exclusive) and the relevant Upgrade Pack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0jkSlm6gVA If rumors are to be believed, the Upgrade Packs should cost around $15-$20 on their own. This is based on the price difference between first-party titles for the Switch 1 and the Switch 2. While the standard editions for Switch 1 have been usually priced at $59.99, it has gone up by $20 (as suggested by the official listed price of Mario Kart World ). It's safe to assume that the Switch 2 games will be more expensive, but they will support plenty of advanced features. The Switch 2 will offer the Joy Con 2, which offers much more functionality than the previous generation. Users will also be able to use in-game voice and video chat, but that will require an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. The new Joy-Cons will also double as mice, helping players manage shooters better. That said, the price rise still feels steep, and it will be interesting to find the prices of the third-party launches. Plenty of amazing games will have day-one support, like Hades 2 , Elden Ring , and more. The post Nintendo Switch 2 game prices, revealed appeared first on Destructoid .

Nintendo Switch 2 release countdown The release date for Nintendo Switch 2 is now live, and gamers won't have to wait long to get their hands on the device. The exact release date has been a matter of speculation and intrigue over the last few months. The official date has been revealed on April 2's Nintendo Direct , and here's how long you'll need to wait. Nintendo Switch 2 release date Nintendo's next handheld in the Switch series is going to be available on June 5. The release date actually falls close to some of the earlier speculations we have on social media. Things look clearer with a confirmed date, as buyers can plan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9flte56erE8&t=79s The rollout will begin in all global areas to start things off and will gradually pick up pace. Some regions of the world will need to wait longer to get their hands on the product as the rollout will take time to complete. The first few months should also witness large-scale demand, given how long it has taken Nintendo to roll out a successor for the original Switch. The Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for pre-orders online and from local retailers. The latter will depend mostly on regional supplies and how much stock is available in the first place. [hurrytimer id="1044351"] Everything that we know about Nintendo Switch 2 The world got the first glimpse at the upcoming console in January when Nintendo revealed the first trailer. While having a similar appearance to the first Switch, the second generation device has plenty of tweaks under the hood. Backward compatibility is one of Switch 2's biggest strengths, as it will allow the first-gen games to run smoothly. The second-gen console will have Joy Con 2 controllers, and there will be a new C button for starters. There will be in-console integration for real-life communication, as the new console has in-built mic to aid voice chat with your buddies. There's also support for video chat, and an additional Nintendo camera will be available. Online membership is necessary to access game chat. GameShare is another cool feature of the new console as it will allow you to share games with nearby console users. This feature will be available for a limited-list of games that will be exclusive to the second-gen console. Compared to the first console, Switch 2 will have a larger screen while having the same thickness. The main screen will have support for 1080P resolution and 120 FPS. With more vividness and HDR, expect to enjoy crisper visuals, especially when viewing darker areas. Additionally, using the dock will allow you to enjoy up to 4K on supported games and TV. With two ports, it will be easier to connect your console with other Type-c devices in tabletop mode. Internal storage has also been given a big boost, as the base version will offer 256GB of storage. The post Nintendo Switch 2 release countdown appeared first on Destructoid .

Helldivers 2 weapons are kind of big today We're pretty sure that the various weapons of Helldivers 2 aren't meant to be the size of SUVs, but maybe we're seeing things. PowerWash Simulator takes dual-wielding to the next level It's a scientific fact that dual-wielding improves everything, but the scientists at PowerWash Simulator were so preoccupied with whether or not they could introduce triple, quadruple, and more big number-wielding formats to their grime-fighting game, that they didn't stop to think if they should have done so in the first place. Razer takes on Gen Alpha with a brainrot-translator This isn't the first time that Razer has offered some fancy headgear, but the Skibidi headset might be its most ambitious project to date. While it looks like the protective gear you'd expect soldiers of a dystopian regime to wear, this is in fact a concept for an AI-powered "brainrot" translator that'll allow you to have a coherent conversation with Gen Alpha. Although, Razer did commit a cardinal sin by posting this joke a day early. A whole bunch of stuff in Goddess of Victory: Nikke Goddess of Victory: Nikke normally goes all out for April Fool's Day, and this year is no exception.
