Hallmark Dream Book 2025 Video Game Ornaments Include Mario Star Tree Topper
The official Hallmark Dream Book 2025 page debuted online ahead of the product pages going live on April 25, 2025, and the video game section includes an Xbox 360, Halo 3 , Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Sonic the Hedgehog , and Super Mario items like a Super Star Tree Topper. There are also some Halloween items, such as a $19.99 Pikachu in a pumpkin that will debut in July 2025. The Ornament Premiere will be held July 12-20, 2025, with Keepsake Ornament Club members getting to shop on July 11, 2025. The Ornament Debut will be held on October 10-19, 2025, with club members getting to buy on October 10, 2025.
Some of the first video game ornaments in the 2025 Hallmark Dream Book involve Pokemon and Minecraft ones on pages 36 and 37. These are the smaller size decorations. One is a set that includes a holiday-themed Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle for $27.99. That debuts in October 2025. The Poke Ball set of six designs launches in July 2025 for $16.99 and is of a similar size. (That also appeared in 2024.) A small holiday Rowlet with gift is $9.99 and out in July 2025 too. The $9.99 mini Goomba is a July 2025 release. Finally, the Minecraft Alex, Arctic Fox, and Steve set launches in July 2025 for $19.99.
The bulk of the video game ornaments in the Hallmark Dream Book 2025 catalog come up on pages 66 and 67. One of the biggest ones is a new console in the ongoing collection with lights and sounds from Halo 3 . That launches in July 2025 for $22.99. The matching Halo 3 ornament with the box art and Master Chief debuts in October 2025 for $19.99. The Super Star Tree Topper is also one of the larger items, with lights and Super Mario Bros music. It costs $74.99 and debuts in July 2025.

The 2024 catalog ’s ornaments included references to The Oregon Trail, Pokemon, Super Mario, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic the Hedgehog, Minecraft, Fortnite , and the original Xbox console.
The new ornaments will begin appearing on July 12, 2025, with club members getting access a day earlier.

Fortnite and Fitness Boxing Switch 2 Compatibility Updated
Nintendo Japan updated the list of backwards compatible games that have some sort of compatibility issues with the upcoming Switch 2 system. The new update includes Fortnite and Fitness Boxing as the two only Switch titles listed as having some sort of major issue that are planned to be addressed when the Switch 2 launches. Epic Games previously announced that a Switch 2 version for Fortnite is currently in the making. However, for Fitness Boxing the issues encountered in the game will be solved via a title update. There is no information yet on if this update will be available on launch day for the new system or when exactly it will be available. It is also unknown if that will be a free patch or paid upgrade.
Furthermore, during the evaluation process, Nintendo encountered 139 games presenting undisclosed issues on the new Switch 2 console. Some of these include Doom Eternal , Pizza Tower , Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes , Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi , and Final Fantasy , to name a few. For the final title, the list didn’t specify which game, but given the naming convention it could be the Pixel Remaster version of the first title.
Meanwhile, 50 games were confirmed to have some issues, but can otherwise be played and progress can be made. A few games appearing in this list are Harvestella , Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection , Alan Wake Remastered , Overcooked , and Alien: Isolation .
Meanwhile, the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit game is listed as having no possible compatibility with the Nintendo Switch 2. This is due to the size of the cardboard kit not being prepared with the size of the new hardware in mind.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch worldwide on June 5, 2025 . The pre-order period has been delayed for North America due to issues with tariffs.

Hirosaki Sakura Festival Includes Mori Calliope MoriZakura Pin Promotion
Cover and We’s Star announced there will be a special Mori Calliope pin given away when people buy the MoriZakura liqueur inspired by the Hololive Vtuber at the Hirosaki Sakura Festival. This will be the only way to get the special Mori Calliope Hololive Vtuber pin, as the companies noted it will not be resold outside of the event. The promotion begins on April 18, 2025, two days after the event begins at Hirosaki Park on April 16, 2025. It's the latest merchandise tied to this collaboration to appear.
To get the pin, someone needs to buy MoriZakura at the booth. If there are still pins available, one will be included in the purchase. It features Mori Calliope in a kimono front and center, with a fox mask on her head. She’s posing on a bridge, and Hirosaki Castle is in the background. Behind it are cherry blossoms, to indicate this appeared in honor of the Hirosaki Sakura Festival 2025.
Here’s the official image from the event, which includes a picture of the MoriZakura liqueur and the Mori Calliope pin accompanying the liquor that features the Hololive Vtuber in front of Hirosaki Castle.

This isn’t the only time we saw a special promotion to promote the Mori Calliope MoriZakura liqueur in Japan and worldwide, as the liquor also inspired a Fortnite map . That debuted back in December 2023, when Cover and We’s Star announced the collaboration .
The Hirosaki Sakura Festival will be held at Hirosaki Park and the Hirosaki Castle Botanical Garden between April 16, 2025 and May 5, 2025, and the MoriZakura Mori Calliope liqueur and Hololive pin will be available while supplies last between April 18-30, 2025. Most recently, the performer streamed herself playing Myriad Death and announced a DOOM run will start on April 15, 2025.
