Should You Bring Neve or Harding?

While this choice does not affect the quest or story's outcome, it can help players increase romantic bonds with Neve or Harding. Ultimately, players should choose based on who they want to greatly increase approval with.

Bringing Neve
If you choose Neve, with me, the game will mention that she greatly approves of your choice and is resolved to stop Solas at all costs.
Neve will also receive permanent facial scarring from accompanying Rook. Lastly, Neve will be unavailable as a companion until the end of the quest called Shadows Crossing.
Bringing Harding
If you choose Harding, with me, the game will mention that she greatly approves of you bringing her and is fully resolved to stop Solas.
Like Neve, Harding will receive permanent facial scarring from accompanying Rook. However, Harding will not lose a limb. Harding will also be unavailable as a companion until you finish the Shadows Crossing quest.
Choice Does Not Affect the Ending
Choosing between the two companions will not affect the ending of the story. The ending to be acquired will heavily depend on the choices made during The Last Gambit quest, which does not specifically require either companions to be available.
